The Privacy Office processes all agreements related to data sharing for research and operational purposes and provides guidance related to privacy provisions in foreign clinical trials. Any potential privacy incidents related to research studies are routed to and analyzed by Privacy to determine whether incidents are reportable and to ensure proper mitigation and remediation of any incidents. Privacy also is a resource for the research community, providing guidance and education on study-related questions.
